#694-24 Barney
Barney (fawn, with white spot) was abandoned in a field in Memphis on the coldest night of the year.
Barney spent his first day in Maryland sleeping, after a 12 hour van ride, then another ride to their foster family’s home.
Barney is a little more adventurous as he gets used to his new environment.
#693-24 Fred
Fred (gray & white boy) was abandoned in a field in Memphis on the coldest night of the year.
Fred spent his first day in Maryland sleeping, after a 12 hour van ride, then another ride to their foster family’s home.
Fred loves his new soft bed and is taking advantage and getting all the nap time he can.
#695-24 ROXY
This little girl was found tied to a pole in Washington DC, and sadly, no one claimed her at the shelter.
Likes other dogs and wants to play. Very sweet girl and loves to snuggle.
She had her eye surgery 02/06/24. Will be spayed at a later date.
She is a very sweet, lovable little girl.
She’s only 30 lbs, great personality. She was great in the car on her freedom ride.
She would be a great apartment/condo dog because of her small size.
Appx 4 years old, non-reactive to other dogs.
Winslow (ID# 679-22)
SHARPIE (#673-22)
Sharpie is a very sweet girl that was picked up as a stray. She loves people and is very affectionate. She is also good in the car. She's had her entropion (eye) surgery and is currently at a boarding kennel, waiting for a foster/forever home. She's very uncomfortable around other dogs, so she would be best as the only dog in the home
Minnie and Dexter
Attention Chinese Shar-Pei lovers: Meet Minnie and Dexter! They are an adapted, small pack and will always be together.
Minnie’s Bday is July 2018 and is 35 lbs. She is alert/aware, playful, jovial, and loves her people. She likes attention and butt scratches, and is great with children, and with most people after smelling them and checking them out. She is spayed, and in good health. Minnie is Dexter’s great aunt

Kyra aka HoneyBun (#686-22)
Kyra, aka HoneyBun, is a very affectionate/people friendly dog who was abandoned by her owner when she was hospitalized.
Sadly, her former owner is now in a nursing home and Kyra is living in a boarding kennel that was only to be a temporary place for her. She is a fan favorite there, but she is reactive to other dogs, so she would need to be the only dog in the home. Otherwise, she is a perfect guest at the kennel and in need of a loving home like yours.
Monkey (# 660-21)
Monkey is a big boy at 68 lbs, A bit standoffish at first, but once he warms up he enjoys butt scratches, laid back guy and is a big love bug. He is UTD on his shots. He would be a good fit for a low-enegy, laid back family, available to snuggle up next to you while watching TV!. Monkey would need a high fence to keep him confined or kept on a leash.
Indifferent to other dogs.
November 2022 - Monkey is now Champ and has happily been adopted to Donald in Baltimore.
