Duncan (#641-19)
***PENDING ADOPTION**** Duncan is a 2 1/2 year old male. His brother is Guinness (ID# 640-19). They were both surrendered on November 22 due to their owner having health issues and physical limitations and were the only animals in the household.
They are current in a shelter in PA and they are very shut down. They are described as friendly when meeting other dogs on a leash and very friendly with strangers. They are house trained and have lived with the owner's grandchildren ages 2-8yrs. They have never been crate trained and are good at the vet and handling. They know the commands "Sit" and "Stay."
MACSPRO will be picking up Guinness and Duncan on January 4th. They have a vet appointment the same day and will be available Saturday, January 4th at approximately 5PM. MACSPRO has a possible foster lined up and would greatly appreciate adoption applications from shar-pei experienced owners. If the boys can stay together great, however we understand that they may need to be separated.
Update: 1/23/2020 Duncan went to his forever home on Jan 23rd with his new amazing mom Layla here in Maryland. Duncan was very playful at the meet and greet showing his new mom and grandmom his amazing abilities to glide and hop while running and prancing side to side like a penguin. We were all very impressed with his playful personality beaming out as he checked in for treats from his mom Layla. Duncan was surrendered with Guinness who was adopted a few weeks ago by Layla's brother Frank. So Duncan and Guinness will be able to continue to be in each other's lives playing and gliding along with grandmom's lab/sharpei mix which whom Guinness is already a hugh fan of. MACSPRO is so grateful to this amazing family for coming along so these boys bond can remain to bring joy and laughter to all those around them for years to come.
