Coal (#617-18)
Coal is male, approximately 45 lbs with bright eyes and the curliest shar-pei tail from the Maryland SPCA. He drives very well and quiet in car and has a proud shar-pei prance like a show horse. He gets along with other dogs and adults and although not tested for children yet, but will probably love them more than anything. Coal bonds quickly, is quiet, comes by frequently to be petted,loves walks, greats both dogs and people he encounters especially squirrels.
Coal is an immediate pleaser.
UPDATE 11/3/18: Coal went to his forever home today with Darlene, (previous MACSPRO adopter) and will reside in Temple Hills, MD. Darlene surprised everyone at our Adoption Event at the Bark Store in Rockville when she came to see him in person.
UPDATE 10/20/18:Coal attended his first adoption event this afternoon at the Texas Roadhouse in Bowie, MD. There were multiple Rescue organizations present, with a lot of dogs and a lot of foot traffic. Coal was a perfect gentleman. He greeted every person with respect, would "Sit" on command, and eagerly greeted every dog that he went nose-to-nose with. While some dogs were aggressive to him, he never even barked back. He let a lot of small children get in his face and he was a perfect gentleman.
Coal will be a wonderful family dog. Coal is a "Keeper", please spread the word.
