Zena

My name is Zena, but I'm affectionately known as Zena Bean. Wagging my tail is my absolute favorite thing to do; and it's contagious, too! When my foster mommy gets excited, she even does a "zena wag" herself. I am an amazingly cute pug and shar pei mix. I am approximately 3 years old and I simply ADORE all people. I enjoy walks and even jogging with my foster mom. I am fully vetted, crate trained and house trained. Did I mention I smile all time? That's because I love to be with my people. And, I am great with kids!

 

The worst day of my life is when my former family surrendered me to All Mutts Matter. They had a toddler whom I absolutely adored; but they said that I was "too much" for them. I wish they were able to keep me and love me, but instead, I ended up with All Mutts Matter. I love my foster mom, but I would really like to have a forever family that I can call my own!

 

In the interest of full disclosure, I need to be an only dog. I am not a fan of other dogs or even kitties. My foster mom thinks it’s because i was never properly socialized. I am a work in progress, and I am correctable in public. I am just not ready to co-exist with another dog or kitty. I believe I will find my true happy ending with a wonderful person or family that I will spend the rest of my life with. Will you take me home and love me forever?
