Adopted

Cooper (#565-16)

Cooper

Cooper was turned into a shelter in Southern VA when his owner passed away and left him and 3 other dogs.   Cooper has some skin issues and could use a foster family to give him the love and care his needs after his ordeal.

Update (05/2016): Cooper's skin issues are doing better, and he is now in a foster home. He is still in need of a forever home, however!

Update (06/2016): Cooper is back at the kennel, things at the foster home did not work out and his is still looking for a furever home.

Update (07/05/2016): Cooper is now in a foster home but still looking for his furever home!

Update (12/10/16): Cooper is still looking for his forever home...is it with you?

Update (12/19/16): Cooper went to his furever home on Christmas Eve and will reside in Olney, MD with a great family who adores him!

Franklin (#564-16)

Franklin

Franklin is a male Shar-Pei mix with good manners and knows some commands.

Update (02/2016): Franklin waiting to play. He's put on a few pounds & is filling out nicely. He's a great dog, got the best of shar-pei & retriever traits. Please consider him if you're looking for an active companion.

Update (2/2016): Franklin went to foster with Terry & his new BFF Sadie in Virginia.

Update (3/2016): Franklin was given an excellent life while living with his Foster Dad.  Unfortunately, he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge after a car accident.  RIP Franklin, you were loved.

Victor (#561-16)

Victor

Victor and Victoria will be coming to MACSPRO from Puerto Rico. Victor and Victoria came from a terrible situation in which the owners moved out of their home and left their two Shar-Peis shut inside with no food, no one looking after them, no way to get out, no nothing.

Victor and Victoria require serious medical attention as they were left abandoned in a closed house without food or water. Volunteers had to work hard to rescue Victor and Victoria from the abandoned house as there was a lot of rubble and stuff barricading the dogs.

We really need fosters once Victor and Victoria arrive to us--please let us know if you can help!

Update (01/2016): Here is a wonderful update on how Victor and Victoria are coming along! And again, we'll need fosters when they arrive in the USA from Puerto Rico.

Update (4/2016): Victor is coming to Maryland this weekend! We heard from Victor's foster mom that he is very, very spoiled and loves to get kissed on the cheek. He also loves to ride around in the car--he'll go anywhere! He is active and playful. However, he should be fed alone, because he really, really loves to eat and will try mightily to get into everyone else's dishes. He doesn't bite or growl, but he tries to push them so they understand to move....He's a strong boy, who may not always know his own strength when he's playing with other dogs. His favorite thing (beside getting kisses) is curling up in a really comfy bed. He really needs a foster home!

Update (06/2016): Victor, now called Charlie, was adopted and went to his furever home with Vanessa & Oliver in Luray VA.

Pei Pei (#558-15)

Meet Pei Pei , a three year old chocolate female.  She is extremely affectionate and did well on all of her evaluations except interacting with other dogs in the shelter environment

She exhibited no resource guarding, was playful and affectionate with handler, walks well on leash and accepted restraint.

Update (12/2015): Pei Pei found her furever home with new dad, Charles in Severn, MD.  It was love at first sight for these two! She is adapting well to her new home; plenty of room to run in her huge back yard and a back seat to ride in, her favorite things, besides kisses!!

Valentino (Private Adoption)

Valentino is a lovable 4 year old 50 lb Shar Pei who comes from Falls Church, Va. His  favorite activity is snuggling up on a soft blanket and sleeping all day.  He loves affection from his owners. He has previously lived in a loving home with adults, grandparents, and children who lived with him from 3-6 and 7-10 years old.  He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does he will show them a lot of affection. He prefers to be the only pet- he is more cautious towards other animals, but will also warm up to them when introduced slowly.

Henry (#560-15)

Henry

Henry will be coming to MACSPRO soon from Puerto Rico. Henry is approximately nine-months old. Henry was previously confined to a backyard 24/7 before he was rescued.

Update 4/29/16: Henry is here in Maryland and is scheduled for a foster home!!!!  If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy please submit an application.

Update 4/7/2016: Henry is coming to Maryland this weekend!! Henry was a very scared & timid boy when he was brought into rescue.   He has been in a foster home for awhile now, getting healthy for his big trip to Maryland.  He has been doing very well in the foster home, running and playing as a totally normal dog.   When taken out of his foster home for a visit to the staff at All Sato Rescue, he became very timid and wouldn't interact with anyone. He tried to hide behind the plants. He never showed any aggression, he was just shy.
Henry could use a foster home here in Maryland and would do best with other dogs in the home to help him relax and be a dog.

Raven (#559-15)

Raven
Raven was found eating trash and living on the street in Baltimore. She was taken in by a good Samaritan who recognized her as a pei. Raven is in rough shape, flea bitten and most of her hair is gone, but she is as sweet as can be considering what ever she went thru. Raven is believed to be approximately 3-4 yrs old.
Raven has already been seen by a vet, gotten her shots and had a nice bath and was a good girl during the whole ordeal.
Raven is very underweight and needs a foster or furever home where she can get some TLC.

Update (01/2016): Raven's fur is growing in and she's gained a little weight, such a sweet little girl. She loves people & kids, she's the Petco Greeter at our adoption events. Rides like a little lady in the car also, even with Franklin trying to play with her in the back seat.

Update (2/22/2016): Raven went to foster and is so happy to have a playmate. She still needs a forever home, and would fit in with a home with kids and another dog to play with.

Update (03/2016):  Jeremy & Corrine became foster failures, they fell for Raven’s charm and made her a permanent part of their family. Tofu now has a permanent partner in crime!

Cruz (#557-15)

Cruz

Cruz, previously Thirteen, lived with 2 adults and has been around children ages 6 and up. He plays and jumps up a little rough for toddlers.  He has lived with cats and chases them but was never aggressive or harmful towards them. His behavior is unknown towards dogs. He has lived indoors only and his activity level is medium. Cruz's previous owner describes him as playful, excitable, affectionate, mellow and friendly.

He is trained to eat on command and won't touch his food until his owner says so. He allowed his owner to touch his food bowl and take treats and toys away from his mouth. He takes showers once a week and likes to be brushed. He barks when an unfamiliar person approaches the house or family member.

Cruz is trained to use the bathroom outside 30 minutes after eating. He knows come, sit, give paw, and eat (In English and Chinese). He is trained to lift all paws when he comes inside to wipe off his paws. Cruz is not crate trained but is well behaved when left home alone. He likes to follow owner around the house but doesn't seek much attention. Cruz eats dry food at 5pm once a day.

Update (2/26/16): Cruz is now being fostered, but is still looking for his forever home!

Update (03/2016): Cruz went home with Allison & Cindy to Pearl River NY to live happily in his furever home!  A big thanks to Cori for fostering him.

SunNee

SunNee has a great temperament as long as he is not crated.  He is current on all his vaccines, has been neutered and has had entropion surgery.
He gets along great with children and may bark at other dogs while he is on his walk.
He is house trained and loves being outdoors

SunNee was originally posted on the MACSPRO website for private adoption.

Update 10/2015:
I would like to Thank you and your staff for assisting us in finding SunNee a new home.
